Your tasks

• Independent application of instrumental analysis as well as microanalysis techniques, e.g. organic chemistry (GC /GC-MS / infrared spectroscopy / rheometers) and thermoanalytics (TGA, DSC, TMA) and inorganic and wet chemical analysis (titration, ICP-OES, UV-VIS-Spectrometry) as well as electron microscopy and X-ray diffractometry including calibration and testing of instruments
• Analysis of unknown samples for error identification in case of complaints
• Processing of order from customers using an internal order management system
• Support in the maintenance of the QM system and in the preparation of audits
• Creation of measurement protocols and reports
• Support of various research and development teams with regard to the development of new or optimization of existing products or processes
• Takeover of further work packages in R&D projects

Your profile

• University degree, preferably with focus on chemistry or material sciences or comparable studies (M.Sc./Eng.)
• Good knowledge of the MS Office package (MS Word, PowerPoint and MS Excel) and basics of programming
• Independent, self-driven and well-structured way of working
• Good command of spoken and written English is required, French and German are a plus
• Passionate and motivated team player and good communication skills
