And therefore we are looking for an Asset Liability Management Specialist in the division of Capital Investment and Asset Liability Management with the base of operations in Cologne, Germany.

Scope of functions

• Derivation/Deduction of strategic asset allocation (SAA) for the AXA-Companies in Germany
• Calculation of (for example) Risk capital and European Embedded Value to dispose for the optimal SAA
• Calibration of stochastic capital investment models
• Analysis and valuation of derivative hedge strategies
• Development of capital investment strategies to improve risk/return positioning
• Management of innovative capital investments operations
• Dialogue with Asset Management Companies und Investment banks

Job specifications

• Graduate degree with international career focussing (i.e. at least with a longer temporary employment abroad and/or international course of studies with a semester abroad)
• Above-average academic success, if applicable with post doctorate
• 2-3 Years professional experience after degree
• Excellent, business fluent command of English
• Competent knowledge of capital markets
• Knowledge of product characteristics for life, health and property insurance
• Good knowledge of mathematics; actuarial training desired
• Sharp edged for analytic thinking
• Readiness to take on responsibility and deciding
