Main activities

Manage and coordinate technical activities during the development of new products by GIDC (our development center).

  • Represent GIDC within project teams in Basel or Morristown
  • Lead the technical development team to reach technical objectives of the project in terms of quality/cost and deadlines
  • Represent and make use of the technical project team with senior GIDC management and R&D

Involved as a technical regulatory expert within project teams in charge of the development of new products and ensure coordination of technical file preparation

  • Control the regulatory compliance of formulas and make sure that development is in compliance with the regulations in force, for the definition of specifications and verification of authorized ingredients in particular
  • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory files by the established deadlines. In particular, have files proofread by the manufacturing sites and approve the various file parts with the different business areas
  • Validate shelf life recommendations proposed by the formulations department

Actively participate in the Development Center’s life

  • Participate in working groups within GIDC or the R&D group
  • Draft and implement procedures for the development center’s activity
  • Create links with the European headquarters in Basel, the manufacturing sites and Regulatory Affiliates in the main countries concerned, to ensure efficient exchanges of information and optimal collaboration

Understand the procedures and safety notices in effect on the site and in your sector in order to share them, apply them and ensure the correct application

Profile

  • Basic training: Relevant science degree with industry orientation or equivalent.
  • Work experience: 5 years or more in the pharmaceutical or consumer products industry.
  • Experience in project management and/or regulatory affairs is desirable.
