Key Responsibilitie

• Quarterly Financial Closing: Support the quarterly financial closing process, ensuring submissions are accurate and timely.
• Data Reconciliation: Perform reconciliations between technical insurance systems and SAP to maintain data integrity.
• Accounting Entries: Book manual accounting entries as required to align financial results and support closing activities. -Transaction Processing: Handle accounts receivable and payable transactions related to reinsurance and insurance operations.
• Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly, coordinating with internal teams and external partners.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and accounting standards.
• Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance data quality.
• Automation Enthusiasm: Demonstrate a strong desire and passion for automating processes, reports, and reconciliations to drive efficiency and innovation.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in accounting, preferably within the insurance or reinsurance industry.
• Process Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounts receivable and payable processes.
• Technical Expertise: Solid experience with SAP and exposure to technical insurance systems.
• Reconciliation Proficiency: Skilled in reconciliations, manual entries, and quarterly close procedures.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
• Collaborative Independence: Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with global teams.
