Tax Director Audit & Controversy (m/f/d), Leverkusen

Missions

• Work closely with and directly report to the Head of Tax Audit & Controversy
• Support on a global scale tax audits and respective tax litigation/appeal matters including the related risk management and risk reporting obligations of the group
• Actively participate in the German as well as in major international tax audits including transfer price audits and respective litigations
• Contribute on tax politics matters by monitoring and lobbying on national and international tax initiatives (in collaboration with Public Affairs Team) including the impact analysis for the group

Profile

• Lawyer (m/f/d) with additional qualification as certified tax advisor (m/f/d), certified tax lawyer (m/f/d) or similar degree
• Several years of professional experience in tax, preferable in an industrial, consulting or tax administrative environment
• Excellent knowledge about German tax law and regulations and a high degree of understanding of international tax rules

• Very good communication and messaging skills with the ability to build long term partnerships with internal management and staff
• Fluent English and German skills; both written and spoken
