The mission of the thermal systems business group is to develop and manufacture systems, modules and components to ensure thermal energy management of the power train and comfort for each passenger, during all phases of vehicle use. These systems help to significantly reduce fuel consumption, CO2 emissions and other pollutants and harmful particles from vehicles equipped with internal combustion engines. They also increase travel range and battery life for hybrid and electric vehicles. At the Front Office in Bietigheim-Bissingen we are supporting Sale- and Project activities and compose the interface between the customers Daimler and Valeo-internal departments at the development from Thermal Systems.
Tasks
- Development of the functions for Laser Scanner based on customer needs
- Technical leadership
- coordination for dedicated functions during the development phase
- Requirement Engineering and derive the system requirements from the customer requirements
- Ermittlung und Festlegung der Hauptmerkmale (KPIs) und Performance für die Laserscannerfunktionen
- Interface between customers and internal development departments
- Development of solution concepts in coordination with Hardware and Software development
- Coordination of open points and requirements with customers or internal departments (eg. Mechanics, HW, SW or Functional Safety)
- Testing and providing of prototypes of the function including coordination with customers
- Change Management
Profile
- University degree in electrical engineering, computer science, mechatronics or similar
- Experiences in System development Knowledge in Software development (eg. model based with Matlab) and Algorythmen development
- preferable or alternatively mechanical engineering and electronics development as well as FPGA development
- Fluency in English and good German skills
- Keeping relations with the customer Automotive experience
- preferably in the range of driver assistance systems Tools: DOORS, Matlab + Simulink, ADTF (desirable), CANoe
