Your tasks

• You will join an international team of engineers developing and maintaining our Smartphone solutions (e.g. CarPlay, iAP2, Android Auto, Baidu CarLife)
• As SW-Engineer Smartphone Solutions you will design, implement and maintain Linux and Android middleware components according to the interface specifications by Apple, Google and others
• Additionally you will execute performance measurements and optimization in an embedded system Environment
• The goal of the Smartphone-Connectivity-Team you will join is to provide the components of our smartphone solutions to different project teams at our customers (Robert Bosch Car Multimedia GmbH and DENSO) and to support these teams to develop and certify the final product

Your profile

• Software development is not only your job but also your passion
• Experience in the programming languages C and C++
• You think in object-oriented programming, modular design and UML
• Candidates with experience
• in software development with (embedded) Linux or Android (automotive)
• in the area of Apple CarPlay or Google Android Auto or similar technologies
• with build and revision control systems for embedded Linux and Android
• are preferred
• You feel at home working in a Linux/Unix environment and you have experience with Build and Revision-Control-Systems
• Experience with performance measurements and analysis in an embedded system environment is an valuable addition
• Good to excellent degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a similar qualification
• Ability to cooperate with developers and suppliers in an international environment (Japan, India, Vietnam)
• Very good communication skills in English language
• Self-contained and target-oriented working-style
