Missions
The Client Manager’s primary responsibility is to build and preserve trusting relationships with Market & Financing Services (MFS) clients, accompany them in their development on a day-to-day basis:
- Monitoring service delivery
- Conducting formal client reviews
- Anticipating clients expectations and providing them diligent and relevant responses to questions
- Defining and implementing strategies to maintain and grow revenues generated from each client
- Escalating and resolving areas of concern as raised by MFS clients
- Assist in the negotiating of lending mandates (renewal/updates/ amendments) and the management of exclusive auctions
- Supporting the product development/structuring team in defining the value proposition of MFS products/services
- Drafting market commentaries, clients newsletters both specific to individual clients and to the generic market
- Providing assistance to the MFS Business support team in the on-boarding of new clients and the set-up of trading relationships with the borrowers
- Performing market analysis to be shared with the MFS Business Development & Solutions team
Profile
- 3-5 years of experience in financial markets
- Solid experience in custody operations and good knowledge of the German fund market, ideally with some securities lending knowledge
- Previous experience working as a client Relationship Manager or a track record of managing client relationships
- Excellent organisation skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build close relationships with clients
- Client oriented way of working
- Ability to work autonomous as other team members are located across global territories, including the UK, Lisbon, Sydney and Paris
- Business fluent in English and German; spoken & written
