SAP Administrator BC (m/f/n), Luxembourg

Creos Luxembourg S.A. is the operator of electricity and natural gas networks in Luxembourg. Nearly 900 employees currently serve the company.

Creos is responsible for the planning, construction, maintenance, and operation of high, medium, and low voltage electricity networks, as well as high, medium, and low pressure natural gas pipelines that it owns or has been entrusted to manage. The networks managed by Creos include more than 12,000 km of electricity lines and approximately 2,200 km of natural gas pipelines, serving over 317,000 electricity customers and around 50,000 natural gas customers.

Tasks

• You will join the IT Hosting & Platforms Services team, where you will be responsible for maintaining the operational readiness of 17 SAP landscapes spread across more than 50 on-premises and cloud environments, as well as the related interfaces. The role includes managing the lifecycle of SAP systems and their satellite systems, planning and carrying out the installation of new systems, and updating existing ones.
• You will work closely with technical and functional teams in the analysis, definition, and implementation of new SAP solutions, in particular S/4HANA and SAP cloud solutions.

Your regular operations will include:

• Monitoring SAP R/3, S/4HANA, cloud environments, and satellite systems
• Installing SAP patches/packs and Notes; activating licences and functions
• Analysing performance and issues, and resolving level 2-3 technical incidents
• Adjusting system and application configurations to improve performance
• Automating recurring tasks
• Implementing and managing maintenance jobs and business batch jobs
• Implementing and configuring SAP web services
• Performing system refreshes to Test, Development, and Quality environments
• Reinstalling/restoring environments when necessary
• Creating and maintaining up-to-date procedures and documentation
• Participating in 24/7 support on-call duty

You will represent the Creos IT department and bring your expertise to projects by:

• Taking direct responsibility for technical projects such as upgrades, new installations, and configurations
• Supporting the Business and functional teams during the migration or go-live of new solutions
• Participating in the analysis of Business requirements and in the definition of the technical solutions to be implemented

Profile

• You hold a master’s degree in IT or an equivalent qualification
• You have at least five years of experience in an SAP working environment, under Microsoft Windows and Microsoft SQL Server
• You have proven experience in managing Basis Components in an SAP R/3 ERP environment
• You are proficient in SAP S/4HANA and/or its Private Cloud edition
• You have experience in SAP Business Technology Platform administration and SAP R/3 to SAP S/4HANA migration
• You are proficient in SAP web services on SAP application servers
• You have experience in managing BO/BI, HR, and ESS/MSS
• You have experience in managing Solution Manager, SOLMAN, and ALM
• You show excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills
• You have effective verbal and written communication skills in English and French
