Sales Representative for Passionate Horse Riders (f/m/d) Dutch / English, Netherlands (Home Office)

70% of the world’s best professional riders use the saddles of our client, a world leading saddler for the dressage and jumping disciplines.

Your main responsibilities

You will develop long term relationships with both existing and new clients (mostly B2C) across the Netherlands in order to increase the company’s market shares. The position requires that:

• You demonstrate drive and the ability to persuade and to negotiate with a set of demanding clients, including managers of stalls and equestrian centers, trainers, professional and hobby riders.
• You attend horse riding competitions, shows and events and you ensure the company’s presence by managing a booth.
• You establish yourself as an expert for your market and actively provide information and technical advice to the customers.
• You are creative and adapt sensible sales technics to convert your prospects into sales.
• You regularly report your activities to the Area Sales Manager and other coordinators.
• You devote most of your time visiting prospects and clients and work in home-office.

Your profile

• You have a strong affinity for horse riding and the equestrian world and you master the related technical vocabulary.
• You ideally have a previous work experience in Sales or strong selling skills. You are motivated and ready to set things in motion to reach the company’s objectives.
• You will have high autonomy to manage your market.
• You demonstrate strong people and communication skills and know how to establish new contacts.
• You speak fluent Dutch and have a good level of English. Knowledge of French is a plus.
• You are yourself a horse rider or ideally have gathered first experiences in the equestrian field.
