Missions

  • Provide meaning and understanding to the Business to ensure maximum buy-in, alignment, and adherence across the company
  • Support and coach the Business to enable adequate structure, behavior, and operations
  • Drive or support regular activities (audits, regulatory requirement monitoring, risk & performance management across various domains)
  • Drive or support specific improvement projects
  • Drive an effective and efficient Integrated Management System
  • Liaison with regulatory authorities

In general, the SSC Specialist is expected to:

  • Be diligent and structured
  • Promote agile methodologies and champion collaboration across different parts/functions of the company
  • Support with cultivating the culture and mindsets within Navblue to achieve the highest level of Operational Excellence
  • Other duties as prescribed by management.

Profile

Demonstrated Hard Skills/Experience (one or several may apply depending on team needs for diverse capabilities):

  • Knowledge of quality and safety systems along with their implementation
  • Knowledge and/or experience of Risk, Opportunity, and Performance Management
  • Experience in an AS9100 and/or ISO27001 environment including previous experience with internal auditing
  • Familiarity with DO200, DO330 and DO178 standards and applying these requirements and processes
  • Knowledge of safety systems and their interactions within the business, or previous knowledge of safety management in the aviation sector
  • Experience in the aviation industry, sufficient to understand the impact of Safety & Quality on commercial airline flight operations
  • Knowledge of Lean and Agile principles, process mapping, and VSM
  • Knowledge and/or experience of Organizational Change Management
  • Excellent English communication skills (written, visual & verbal)
  • Education/Training: Vocational qualification, diploma or degree in relevant subject(s)
  • Experience: 3+ years prior work experience in a professional/office environment

  • Effective time management skills; capable of managing multiple competing priorities and meeting deadlines in a dynamic technical environment
  • Analytical and problem solving
  • Ability to combine a detail oriented approach when necessary, with pragmatism
  • Strong written/verbal communication, skills: capable of understanding what information the audience needs to know and communicating it in an effective manner
  • Transverse project management; capable of delegating & monitoring tasks, providing feedback to improve performance and engaging and motivating staff to deliver on objectives including in a non-hierarchical dimension
  • Effective interpersonal skills, adaptable to all levels of the organization: Listening, providing meaning, and influencing
  • Adapt well to change

Technical Systems Proficiency:

  • Computer proficiency – able to navigate Email, Internet and Google Suite/similar environment competently, with emphasis on Google Docs, Google Sheets and Google Slides.
