Quality Engineer (m/f), Aachen

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Central coordination of quality improvement projects
• Analysis and maintenance of quality data to derive measures to maintain a high level of quality in processes and products
• Definition and introduction of new quality measurement tools
• Continuous improvement of factory process control (FPC) together with Quality Manager
• Support industrialization of new innovations to ensure product quality
• Handling and tracking of claims related to quality regarding raw material as well as finished goods

Qualifications and Skills

• Technical background (bachelor degree or equivalent)
• At least 3 years of experience in relevant work field (quality management / process control)
• Fluent in German and English, Polish appreciated
• High proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel is absolutely required
• Knowledge of relevant software applications (e.g. Q-das) and methods (Shewhart chart, Ishikawa, Pareto, Process capability Cp/Cpk,..)
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work in an international environment and matrix organization
• Readiness to travel up to 50 %
