Mains tasks & responsibilities

• Collect, monitor and analyse quantitative and qualitative market information in order to maintain key updated figures relating to Bayer SeedGrowth Coatings seedcoating business.
• To position and landmark Bayer SeedGrowth Coatings portfolio in competitive environment.
• Formulate, direct and co-ordinate marketing activities and policies to promote products and services to the BCS country organisations and their external customers to their and our advantage.
• Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate for the introduction of new products.
• For the area of commercial responsibility be the link between commercial, client, production, production forecast and logistic.
• Identify areas of growth.
• Acquire expertise to function as a member of the Bayer SeedGrowth Coatings sales administration for the own area of responsibility and the potential to replace colleagues during illness or holiday.
• Ensure that the “Certiphyto Agrément” requirements (of Phytopharmaceutical Products Application) are implemented, those including sensibilization to labels reading.

Qualifications

• Educated to graduate level in Agriculture, Marketing or a related subject.
• Good understanding of Agriculture, the Crop Protection market and Seed Treatment structure in particular.
• Good marketing skills required, together with some relevant work experience.
• Project Management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent knowledge of English (reading, writing & spoken) essential, one further language of advantage.
• Good practice of word, Excel, Power Point, SAP.
• Ability to function in a cross functional working environment.
• Analytical skills and high strategic skills.
• Certificat individuel en travaux et services.
• Good communication skills required & good team spirit.
• Ability to cope with a complex environment of > 30 countries representing the world’s climatic regions, crops and plethora of working partners of diverse cultural background.
