Missions
- Management, implementation and commissioning of automation and Industry 4.0 projects and sub-projects
- Analysis of current manufacturing and assembly processes and readiness for automation,
- Acquisition of data for and elaboration of process flows, layouts and specifications for automation projects,
- Elaboration, detailing, testing, implementation and commissioning of automation projects,
- Active support of teams in regions and plants regarding current and new and automation technologies,
- Elaboration of CE certifications, execution and documentation of needed FMEA’s and risk assessments
- Management of suppliers, integration partners and local teams
- Obtaining of offers and quotations in close alignment with purchasing department
- Knowledge transfer between plants and regions
- Elaboration of Standard Automation Solutions
- Analysis of newest technologies available in the market and evaluation of their applicability in existing and new production lines,
- Support and optimization of current production machines and lines
- Elaboration of regular project and sub-project status reports and documentation
- Programming of robots & cobots in the course of the implementation of Automation systems
Profil
- University of applied science Diploma or Bachelor/Master in Engineering Sciences, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with an specialization in Automation
- Minimum 3 years of experience in automation and special machinery projects, preferably gained in a special machinery or automation or integration firms
- Sound skills and experience in robot programing and integration, onception and realization of robot gripper systems, coneyor systems, linear handling systems, installation and commissioning of automated production lines and machines, PLC programming, Industry 4.0 technologies, (cobotics, robotics, AGVs, sensor technology...)
- Knowledge and experience with the European machine directive, the CE certification process and norms and standards related to standard robots and collaborative robots.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) and one local language spoken in Faurecia’s European Division,
- Economics, project management and calculation knowhow,
- High willingness to travel regionally and Europe wide,
- Preferable: Lean manufacturing know how.
