Missions

• Contribute with expertise, to the definition of technical solutions during RFI/RFQ phases
• Ensure that the platform architecture is consistent with all stakeholder requirements and best architecture practices (ex.: customers requirements, valid legal requirements, group standards and golden rules)
• While defining the architecture, the focus is on re-usability in several customer projects
• Enable modularity of the design by defining the product configurator to show how the product is broken down into configurable modules
• Define the fix, variable and specific parts of the architecture, offering the possibility to the System Architect to make the necessary configuration for a specific customer
• Analyze and allocate stakeholder requirements to design elements of the architecture
• Participate in reviews of the [SyAD], [HSI], [HwMI], as well as Integration test and follows-up on open findings
• Provide technical guidance and expertise to the R&D team within projects
• Collaborate closely with the Technology team
• Contribute to solve and overcome blocking issues in projects by proposing new ideas, providing the relevant analysis and justification, in the frame of the work-package
• Identify and propose optimization potential on existing products
• Deal with external partners (Technology providers, labs, start-ups): assess partners’ know-how/technologies and potential for Valeo in the field(s) of expertise
• Participate to the most relevant events (ie. Experts symposium, conferences)
• Contribute to the construction of the roadmap for the next generation of product
• React on SIQ (SW/System Interactive Questionnaire) request and participate in SIQ meetings

Profile

• Completed studies with a focus on computer science, electrical engineering, physics or mathematics
• 5+ years of professional experience in the field of research/development of assisted/autonomous driving with a focus on environmental understanding and perception (vision, lidar, radar)
• Strong knowledge of Lidar products and variants
• Leadership experience in System Architecture
• Strong understanding of system engineering and architecture
• Good communication and Leadership skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Business fluent in English
