Missions
- Shape Bayer's Cell and Gene Therapy strategy by laying the foundation for Bayer to maximize market access and pricing opportunities via development of innovative pricing models and environment-shaping stakeholder groundwork
- Responsible for developing innovative pricing and contracting models for current and future pharma portfolio, including cell and gene therapies, digital solutions and data analytics offerings
- Leverage leadership and interpersonal skills to establish strong cross-functional and country rapport for key strategic initiatives
- Build external relationships to inform Bayer's Pricing and reimbursement approach for future assets and to shape external view on innovative pricing and reimbursement approaches
- Translate external examples of novel pricing models into solutions for Bayer's portfolio
- Advance non-traditional partnership opportunities that enable patient access to Bayer's product offerings
- Provide leadership and collaboration within PI2 team for "innovation enablers" forums, tools and activities that create and promote a MAPAS culture of idea generation, experimentation, knowledge exchange, and "play to win" mindset
Profile
- Advanced academic degree in science or equivalent
- Long-term experience with progressive levels of strategic responsibility in market access; experience in other strategic functions an asset
- Ability to simply and effectively translate complex concepts into tangible pricing and reimbursement strategies and solutions
- Demonstrated success in a commercial environment; country-level market access experience an asset
- Experience developing forward-looking market access and pricing strategies
- Demonstrated success collaborating cross-functionally and with global/regional/country colleagues to optimize market access and pricing
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a track record of successful internal and external collaborations
- Track record of building strong partnerships with key stakeholders
- Willingness and ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity in order to deliver tangible results
- Enthusiasm for embracing a mindset of innovation and experimentation
- Willingness to challenge status quo
- Courage to experiment and advance new ideas
