National Contract Logistics Director (m/f/d), Limburg

Your Responsibilities

• Ensure operational excellence across all sites to maximize efficiency and effectiveness in line with customer agreements and KPIs, providing exceptional customer service at every stage of the customer life cycle;
• Prepare for and participate in customer meetings and Quarterly Business Reviews with key customers to drive the implementation of necessary actions and improvements;
• Expand the current customer base through effective relationship management and collaboration with relevant internal functions, focusing on retaining existing customers and increasing volume and services;
• Promote commercial growth by optimizing existing space and creating business opportunity proposals in coordination with our business development team;
• Take ownership of month-end closing activities, including customer invoicing, performance tracking against targets, and cost management;
• Provide support for the monthly Profit and Loss forecasting process;
• Manage the business's finances, with a focus on gross profit through comprehensive knowledge of rates, costs, and accurate reporting;
• Lead and take responsibility for the development of your team and further cultivate your team of senior contract logistics experts into a high-performing unit.

Your Skills and Experiences

• At least 10 years of successful managerial experience in a logistics environment, which is 5 years preferably in a similar/same position;
  
• You have an affinity with technology, automation, Lean, and/or Operational Excellence;
• You have great peopleand communication skills;
• You are solution and result-oriented;
• You have strong analytical skills;
• You have excellent customer relationship skills;
  
• You are fluent in English. Besides, Dutch and French are a plus.
