Market Development Manager (m/f), Stuttgart

We are looking for someone to take over as:

Market Development Manager (m/f)
with focus on African states

The future holder of the position will report directly to the Management Board.

Main responsibilities

• Independent supervision of a group of foreign subsidiaries, local representatives and branch offices, in particular in the African states
• Customer relationship management and new customer acquisition
• Providing support to distribution partners in order to successfully develop the market
• Sales and budget planning in conjunction with the Management Board
• Budget responsibility and formulation of sales targets
• Development and implementation of market strategies based on market and competition monitoring

Qualifications required

• A technical or business degree or comparable know-how and experience acquired through vocational training and work experience
• Several years of experience in international technical sales with proven track record
• Professional application of relevant marketing tools
• Good people skills and intercultural competence for the North African region
• English language skills, fluency in spoken and written French and German, Maghrebi Arabic skills advantageous
• Experience with MS Office and, ideally, knowledge of CRM systems and SAP
