Lean Manufacturing Expert (m/f), Les Mureaux

We are looking for a Lean Manufacturing Expert (m/f), to join the Astrium Space Transportation "Industrial Monitoring" department in Les Mureaux.

Tasks

The candidate will be in charge of:

• Harmonisation and systematisation of Lean.
• Implementation and follow-up of "line contracts".
• Leading cycle and cost re-engineering contracts (e.g. VSM).
• The permanent quality improvement policy (problem solving, etc.).
• Good practice and experience feedback applied in action plans.
• Implementation of the Lean Engineering, Lean Supply Chain and Lean Office approaches with counterparts in the relevant skill sectors.

Profile

You have an Engineering degree or equivalent in Manufacturing/Production, specialising in Lean. You can show solid experience of at least 10 years in the aerospace field or similar sector of activity.

We are looking for a candidate with advanced knowledge of Lean (Engineering, Supply Chain, Office) and continuous improvement. This position requires a Black Belt qualification or equivalent.
You have at least 5 years' experience in team management.

• Ideally, you are known for your team spirit, autonomy and excellent communication skills but also your analytical and systematic thinking. 
• This position requires advanced level English and intermediate German. 
• This position requires security clearance.
