Responsibilities

  • Capitalize FIS technical value and knowledge through standards and guidelines for Instrument Panel and glove-box ( IP&GB ).
  • Ensure the application of standard solutions (Generic Concepts) and associated standards & guidelines on IP&GB programs. Ensure solutions chosen are robust.
  • On IP&GB programs, starting from acquisition phase, assess the “product-process” robustness (Including product performance) and perform risk assessment through the IP PPCS. To do so, participate to D&D Workshops, Design Reviews and any key technical reviews.
  • Support programs for complex problem solving.
  • Support Innovation related to IP&GB. Validate Innovation Validation Plans. Propose patents.
  • Maintain customer intimacy through “Métier” meetings.
  • Contribute to the technical training for Instrument Panel through Faurecia Engineering Academy.
  • Contribute to the IP&GB Systems technology roadmap (continuous improvement)
  • Maintain knowledge of IP&GB state of the art, on product solutions and technologies.
  • Anticipate IP&GB of tomorrow from product and technologies point of view.
  • Be pro-active within the IP technical network.

Profile

  • Several years of working experience in the field of automotive automobile development as well as industrial implementation (>5 years).
  • A strong experience in Instrument Panel development (>5 years).
  • A “product-process” approach.
  • A strong knowledge in the technologies used on an Instrument Panel.
  • Creativity and ability to think interdisciplinary and a sense for technical feasibility. Ease of decision-making, self-confidence and own initiative, presentation methods.
  • German & English languages
  • Flexibility for frequent business travel.
  • Capacity of synthesis, presenting to large audience (including in the English language), or other experts
  • Capacity to have and propose a vision and a direction to our Instrument Panel & Glove Box domain
