Generic responsibilities

• Responsible for the technical content related to his field of expertise for complete seat innovation projects in which he is involved, animating other R&D contributors.
• Generate, support and validate the technical definition of innovation projects for all the topics related to his expertise.
• Generate and develop new ideas in the field of seat design allowing a better integration of human needs and behaviors in innovative components, and optimization of the interfaces.
• Consolidate and formalize the design rules for complete seat, in collaboration with other metiers having the complete system (seat and cockpit) in mind (synthesis mindset).
• Develop and put in place tests and protocols to validate and prove the relevancy of the product in regards to his field of expertise.
• Develop / contribute to the development of robust design tools
• Contribute to the development and deployment of system engineering tools (Comfort Index, KDM, …)
• Contribute to the development of competencies in D&D application teams (training, coaching, RFQ support …)
• Contribute to benchmarking activities, technical survey, lessons learned on past and current developments in relation with application team and on a worldwide basis (knowledge and know-how state of the art continuous update – bad and good practices).
• Contribute to the animation of International internal and external scientific, technical and engineering network in his field of expertise.

Specific Responsabilities

• Drive the product/process technical choice, propose innovative and patentable solutions.Generate design concepts and produce conforming designs, parameters and calculations to integrate his knowhow in product design.
• Provide all the technical deliverables from Innovation Process (Milestones, Organisation)

Profile

Technical competencies :

• Human physiology and psychology expert
• Ability to conduct measure on Human (set up of the test, data collection, statistical analysis and interpretation)
• Project Management
• Business plan Knowledge
• Master level PhD
• Engineer degree or equivalent
• English mastered (4 mini)
• French / German might be a +
• Already worked 3 to 5 years in industrial environment (industrialization, production) or Research center
• Project management
• PackOffice mastering (and statistical tools if possible)
