Our client is an innovative digital solutions provider. The company works with partners to bring to life their digital aspirations.
For his German office counting around 200 employees, you will deliver best in class management and employee HR services, in all areas ranging from Recruitment, Training & Development, Internal Communication, Disciplinary and Employee Relations issue resolutions, Payroll Outsourcer management, Compensation & Benefits management, Performance management.
You will be responsible for ensuring that Group HR processes, decisions, programmes and tools are consistently and effectively applied; you will collaborate & partner with HR Corporate, other Region HR team members and local Management team to continuously improve employee and manager HR experience, whilst responding to the needs of a dynamic, fast paced & ever evolving business sector.
You will work in partnership with the Digital Management team to bring HR value to management decisions and be a trusted Business partner to the local management team.
Key responsibilities
- Managing all key HR processes and programmes with a small team of HR
- Delivering &/Coordinating staffing (as recruiting talented IT profile) & training for the geography
- Responsible for Personnel administration & payroll, keeping HR system updated
- Delivering employee HR support services & resolve employee HR support issues/cases
- Actively contributing to organisational decisions impacting employees including Workers councils’ alignments
- Leading initiatives to make Digital a great environment to work in collaboration with managers & Global HR Team
- Contributing as an influential member of the local management team
- Collaborating with Global HR team members to actively drive improvements and best practices
Skills & Experience desired
- A minimum of 6 years’ experience in all round HR practices and HR management activities in a Matrix international and Digital/New technologies environment
- Solid experience in managing and working in effective partnership with Workers councils
- Experience in management of transition projects
- Talent Acquisition experience on IT profiles on Digital/New technologies environment (as example: Google or Amazon profiles)
- Fluency in German and English language, written and spoken
- Good knowledge of German labour law
- Demonstrated personal leadership skills: influencing, collaboration, communication, …
- Self-starter and able to work on his/her own on an operational basis
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Result oriented and strong sense of service delivery
- Excellent communication and relationships building skills
- Relevant multi-cultural sensitivity to work effectively with remote managers
- Maturity and balanced in managing sensitive situations &/or conflicts
