Head of Process Management (m/f), Les Mureaux

Tasks

• In the frame of this activity, the jobholder will actively apply methodologies of LEAN and change management, i.e. provide the drumbeat for the completion and maintenance of the BMS as well as its associated IT infrastructure (process model & documentation data base, BMS Publisher, BMS Intranet pages, CMMI PMPE data base, Process KPI data base & reporting) according to the agreed schedule.
• To support process culture and awareness throughout AST, the jobholder will supervise the compilation of the quarterly AST Process KPI Report and conduct the annual Management Systems Review. Apart from transnational team management, change management leadership, and organisational skills, active stakeholder management is required for this endeavour.
• To underline the strategic relevance of the above mission, the jobholder will be nominated CMMI Authority. He/she will also be the Secretary General of the BMS Committee and represent AST on Corporate level concerning AST's process management.
• In addition to the BMS team and the process owners & experts, the jobholder will work closely together with the sister department TAP2 in the preparation of quality & CMMI audits, with AST's "Central Quality" unit in the preparation of internal process audits, and with TAT in the process related improvement of IT tools.

Profile

• You have an Engineering degree or equivalent specialising in Quality System Management, Engineering or Business Process Management. You have a proven experience of at least 5 years in the aerospace field or similar sector of activity.
• We are looking for a candidate with expertise on process and change management, LEAN methodologies (green/black belt, six sigma or equivalents), and quality principles.
• International Project & Change management as well as Cross-functional Team Management experience is indispensable for this job.
• Experience in stakeholder management and communication is strongly recommended.
• The jobholder should be open to get introduced to the process management.
• Knowledge in IT environment such as ARIS, Intranet, Wiki etc. would be appreciated.
• Ideally, you are recognised for your leadership, communication skills, decision making as well as your team spirit.
• This position requires advanced level English and intermediate German would be a plus. 
• For this position you will have to travel between all sites of Astrium Space Transportation in France and Germany.
