Main Missions

• Improvement of Logistics performance according to delivery targets, quality targets and financial targets
• Problem and conflict management with the suppliers in terms of daily deliveries, price issues and contract issues
• Product change management, tracking survey of changing components compliance with time, cost and deployment requirements and tracking of price negotiations for changes
• Ensure that the customer activity plan is applied to the plant programming
• Price negotiations regarding transport providers in term of cost, utilization, etc. shared with corporate SCM
• Report on plant results according to the department indicators to corporate logistics
• Material planning/procurement of Tier 2 components to cover all part requirements for assembly
• Responsibility for supply guarantee of subcomponents to cover our material request for cockpit assembly
• Responsibility for stock inventory optimizing into considerations of transportation
• Avoidance of obsolescenes
• Control of balanced truck arrival management
• Monitoring of transport costs incl. analysis
• Representative for load securing

Profile

• Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or similar
• Profound experience in logistics, supply chain management and purchasing, ideally in automotive
• Know-how in operative supply procedures and transport norms
• Entrepreneurial mind-set with a can do attiude
• Strong Leadership experience and communication skills, to be able to act and develop team members
• Agility to understand and adapt to Faurecia Organization
• Intercultural and open mindset
• FMEA and material handling experience
• Fluency in English and German
• Standard PC Software knowledge (MS Office etc) and SAP
