Missions

The main tasks of GTS Safety Team Leader will be to:

  • Promote and deploy Faurecia's technology portfolio to project teams from the acquisition phase, to the development phase, to serial life
  • Conduct internal and external benchmarks and monitor technological progress in order to build the technological roadmap in line with the company's Strategic Plan
  • Capitalize technical knowledge on its domain through the writing of standards and policies for product / process design and development, in collaboration with other departments
  • Initiate improvement of the existing standards based on feedback from project teams
  • Transfer technical know-how within Faurecia Interiors: design and lead training modules within the Technology Academy (internal university)

Management Responsibilities:

  • Manage the workload and resources of the team
  • Recruit and develop the team (skills assessment, development plan)
  • Propose and manage the budget of their technical domain
  • Promote collaborative work (team spirit, synergies)

Profile

  • Master degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 5 to 8 years’ experience in automotive industry, safety domain appreciated
  • 1st experience in management required
  • Fluent in English, second language is a plus
  • Interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to facilitate meetings and workshops with other departments and suppliers
  • Curiosity and passion for technical domains
  • Scientific approach in problem solving (6 sigma, 8D, PDCA)
  • Knowledge of standard software (MS Office) and digital design tools
