Missions

Aligned with the new Discovery setup and culture, define the strategy and general frame of HSE management systems for Discovery, including labs, field testing, specific production setup in Brazil, offices and Commercial Operations.
Lead the regional HSE and labs community ensuring best practices exchange and harmonized processes whenever relevant and feasible.

• Define Discovery HSE strategy and standards, HSE management system and governance, from risk assessment, health and safety prevention and management to remediation within a continuous improvement process.
• Ensure HSE compliance by leading the QHSE regional function in the development, adoption, implementation and follow up of HSE management systems for labs, field testing, specific production setup in Brazil, offices and Commercial Operations
• Manage cross regional HSE community to ensure harmonized effective development and implementation of plans, programs, guidelines at controlled costs
• Contribute to Quality HSE Management Review providing KPIs, trends analysis to improve HSE efficacy across Discovery organization
• Develop QHSE culture and harmonized communication to reinforce awareness and adhesion across Discovery organization

Profile

• BS Degree or higher in HSE, business or related fields
• Flexibility and ability to reduce complexity
• Exceptional ability to engage stakeholders across the organization to facilitate implementation of new or improved business processes and systems
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational skills
• Demonstrate a high level of comfort with ambiguity and strong ability to respond quickly to new opportunities
