Functional Safety Coordinator (m/f), Bietigheim-Bissingen

The mission of the thermal systems business group is to develop and manufacture systems, modules and components to ensure thermal energy management of the power train and comfort for each passenger, during all phases of vehicle use. These systems help to significantly reduce fuel consumption, CO2 emissions and other pollutants and harmful particles from vehicles equipped with internal combustion engines. They also increase travel range and battery life for hybrid and electric vehicles. At the Front Office in Bietigheim-Bissingen we are supporting Sale- and Project activities and compose the interface between the customers Daimler and Valeo-internal departments at the development from Thermal Systems.

Description

• Ensure the correct deployment of Functional Safety methodology and solutions in the Projects Assist the project teams, in compliance with Valeo methodology: Safety Planning, Safety analyses (FMEA, FTA, Reliability), Safety Concepts, Safety Case Interface with the Projects, with System, HW and SW metiers as the technical reference on safety related questions Perform some Valeo Safety
• Design Reviews on the required safety related projects
• Support the continuous improvement and standardization process within Valeo Community Interface with the car manufacturers in the project meetings and reviews

Profil

• Master, Bachelor or equivalent in Electronics or Computer science

Profil

• Strong experience in engineering of electronics embedded products (System, Software and/or Hardware)
• Preliminary experience in Functional Safety deployment
