Your challenge

• For you, it's all about the professional design and simulation of analog and digital circuits used in medical devices.
• In this regard, your expertise is required in the context of specific development projects, at both national and international levels.
• You cooperate closely with our system engineers as well as software and mechanics developers – the exchange with external development partners is also important.
• Furthermore, it will be on you to create the comprehensive development documentation as well as to carry out clearly structured reviews.
• Your responsible agenda also includes the design planning of electronic subsystems and architectures as well as the hardware-related programming of microcontroller systems.
• Beyond that, your expertise is needed concerning the risk management for electrical and electronic components and systems (e.g. FMEA).
• With a trained eye for detail, you define and monitor effective quality assurance measures in the electronics sector.
• Last but not least, you will develop and evaluate constructive safety measures, taking into account all of the applicable standards (e.g. IEC60601-1).

Your competence

• Successful degree in a relevant field: Electronics, Medical Technology, Informatics
• Long-time experience in the field of Electronic Engineering or Informatics
• Sound knowledge in the development of electronic circuits
• Solid programming know-how in C and C++ – ideally, also development experience in a medical environment
• Proficient in the programming of microcontroller systems, in the EMC-compliant circuit design as well as in the simulation of analog and digital circuit parts
• Versed in the use of MS Office, experience with MATLAB Simscape of advantage
• Good language skills in German and English, both verbal and written
• Conscientious and considerate team player with good communication skills
