Missions
- Support Senior Bankers and Relationship Managers in managing existing client relationships and leverage on our comprehensive product offering to find new business opportunities
- In conjunction with various product groups (Investment Banking, Debt Capital Markets, Global Markets, etc.), assist the preparation of financial, industry, and comparable transaction analysis for tailored client presentation and pitches
- Preparing concise and detailed credit analysis and lead the subsequent internal credit approval process for complex client transactions and annual reviews
- Staying up to date with recent market and industry trends, responsible for evaluating public filings, research reports, financial projections, and business plans to produce strategic and financial analyses
- Interact with our global network of product experts and relationship managers to coordinate the execution of new deals
- Ensuring the accuracy of the reporting tools and databases for revenues, deals, and risk metrics
- Managing internal processes including budgeting, KYC, fund flows, and the booking of credit facilities
- Ensuring consistent and comprehensive enforcement of BNP Paribas CSR policies and procedures
Profile
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or comparable academic education
- Prior experience (internships, trainee program) in corporateor investment banking
- Advanced knowledge of financial analysis, good modeling skills, ability to deep dive into financial statements
- Willingness to improve detailed knowledge of banking product range
- Interest in current trends in the financial and banking sector, including developments with regards to CSR and green banking products
- Detail oriented, highly organized, able to express ideas concisely and proactive approach to work
- Team player deal firmly but tactfully with team members, other business areas and external clients
- Communication skills Work transversally across the organization, maintain high standards of professionalism and ability to express ideas concisely
- IT skills: MS Office required, Bloomberg is an advantage
- Fluency in English and German
