Your main missions
- Translate data into competitive knowledge by providing relevant and innovative data analysis results to the tox programs on site (Early Tox, PK,mecanistic studies) adequately to their requests and needs.
- Define & Execute appropriate meta data, data & information management as well as knowledge generation principles in order to ensure high-quality data for effective interpretation
- Gather, visualize and analyze data and key performance indicators to develop quantitative and qualitative insights via analytical models to enable better decision making, including for example model development
- Participate in the design of experiments: understand the biological problems and guide the technological choices to support data driven decisions.
- Collaborate with subject-matter experts to further refine data handling, visualization and management. Actively contribute to the Bayer Data Science Community, both in Crop Science and in Pharma to exchange on best practice.
- Ensure proper planning of experiments, adapted statistical interpretation and visualization of results to increase quality of data and interpretations.
Your Profile
- You have a Master or PhD in bioinformatics and/or in natural sciences with focus in application of computational biology.
- You can answer biological/toxicological questions within life science R&D.
- Thanks to your experience in applying data analytics, you know how to improve data visualization and interpretability of data. Some experience in PBPK modeling would be an advantage.
- A good knowledge in Toxicology would also be an advantage.
- Expertise in Python, R is a must; having knowledge in Spotfire dashboard and Shiny Apps is a plus.
- You have a very good ability to work in interdisciplinary teams due to excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- You have a solid experience with project management.
- Fluent written and oral communication skills in English is required, ability to speak French and/or German would be ideal !
