Your new role
- Are you a technical expert and enthusiastic about international Metro Turnkey projects? Start as Chief Engineer in one of our Metro turnkey projects and face the diverse technical and interesting challenges.
- You will assess the project-specific implementation of the approved design of a Metro project and utilize your technical competence while being responsible for this from a technical point of view.
- You manage and monitor the engineering processes as well as the interface and requirements management between the individual systems of the entire plant.
- As a competent partner, you represent the technical solutions to customers and authorities.
- You solve emerging technical challenges that arise in the context of system design, system layout and system integration of the Metro project. In doing so, you use your knowledge of rail-bound transport systems under consideration of relevant standards.
- You prove as well the technical contractual requirements.
- You generate comprehensive technical specifications and ensure compliance with standards.
Your qualifications
- The basis of your success is a successfully completed engineering degree in the fields of traffic planning, traffic engineering or electrical engineering or a successfully completed equivalent technical education.
- Your many years of relevant professional experience have given you expertise in rail-bound transport systems (preferably in the plant business) and ideally in the field of driverless systems.
- You have already gained experience in the areas of interface and requirements management, RAM and safety as well as railway operating concepts (especially driverless systems UTO / GOA4), system integration tests and technical commissioning.
- You have knowledge and assessment competence for the subsystems of complete railway systems, e.g. signalling technology, traction power supply, vehicle technology, SCADA & communication systems and other systems such as platform screen doors.
- You have knowledge in the area of offer and interface management as well as tender and contract analysis.
- You have professional leadership skills, an independent and structured way of working have pronounced communication skills and a high level of social competence and ideally already worked in international project management.
- Due to the international orientation of the projects you are mobile and ready for business trips and, if necessary, longer-term assignments on site as well, this requires you being fluent in English and good in German. Mastering further foreign languages such as French, Spanish, Portuguese or Arabic is an advantage.
