Biology, Bioavailability Research Technician (m/f), Lyon

Mission

• Within a multidisciplinary team, you will participate in the identification of bioavailability parameters for molecules and their optimization to ensure better activity in the field. You will organize, conduct and analyze experiments to understand the behavior of molecules in fungal cells and/ or plants of agronomic interest. These studies involve characterizing the localization, transport and metabolization of compounds using in vitro and in planta test platforms. You will prepare documentation, study reports and record data and results in databases and effectively communicate your research findings.
• You will stay current with new technologies and contribute to the development and implementation of new methodologies and protocols to respond to changes in the company's research objectives. You will actively participate in the development and implementation of automated tools and technologies and will contribute to our ongoing digital transformation with specific focus on accelerated data generation, better data management and actionable data analysis.

Profile

• You have a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Biology/ Cellular Biology-Biochemistry or related field. Previous significant experience(s) in a similar position within a company or an academic research institute is/are also a requirement.
• Through your past experiences, you will have acquired good scientific knowledge of plant physiology and / or cell biology - microscopy and / or pharmacodynamics and / or formulation, demonstrating a high level of technical skill. An interest in understanding analytic-related topics is desired and good understanding of molecular physical chemistry parameters is a plus. You will have skills managing, analyzing and identifying actionable insights from large amounts of data. Previous knowledge and experience with automated robotic platforms is a plus. You are familiar with trends and technological developments in your field and have an interest in implementing them to continuously improve lab capabilities.
• You are a dynamic, rigorous, precise and organized person and show a good capacity for adaptation.
• Your communication and interpersonal skills will allow you to collaborate effectively with the different teams and to share feedback on your work and solve technical problems.
• As the position is part of an international team, a good level of English is required (read, spoken and written). As the position will be based in Lyon, an intermediate level of French is necessary for the position.
