Missions

The role of an Acquisition Manager is to gain new business and, as a leader of a program, to be the interface with all customer departments (purchasing, engineering, quality, after sales, etc.) for his/her portfolio of products currently in production.
The main missions of the role are to:

• Be the driver and leader of acquisition process according to Faurecia Group standards
• Be responsible for commercial offers presented to the customer and manage commercial negotiations in cooperation with the Sales Director
• Check the profitability of productivity and present it to the management team
• Presentation of innovation of Faurecia to the customer (e.g. Tech Days, etc.)
• Ensure permanent contact with various customer departments, including involving Faurecia teams when necessary
• Responsible for Acquisition budget and the follow-up costs

Profile

• Master's degree in engineering or business sciences (with a specialization in Sales)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales and project management
• Experience in automotive environment
• Results orientation with strong written and oral communications skills
• Ability to work in a matrix organization
• International mind set, strong analytical skills
• Minimum bi-lingual (German and English required)
