The main missions

  • Provide leadership and oversight to program teams on design and during Customer acquisition provide costs estimates for warranty on quotes for new business
  • Researches and analyzes reliability of products produced by FCT. Identifies trends in product reliability and reports findings to product development teams and Senior Management. Provides central point of contact for customer reporting of field failures of company products
  • Guide team to develop / update data analysis systems that allow for tracking of both warranty performance and top issues affecting product and drives resolution
  • Applying Group standards following the Faurecia Excellence System (FES)
  • Using Faurecia's Program Management System (PMS) to ensure design robustness.
  • Identify business requirements to support the warranty recovery application, and guide team in technical Problem Solving
  • Review customer warranty data – sampling strategy for warranty acquisition quantification
  • Lead problem resolution for warranty issues (8D / Customer Warranty Database)
  • Participate in monthly lessons learned meetings – by Techno Block
  • Ensures findings from testing and tear down activities are followed up on and issues are tracked for identification of needed corrective actions and/or design changes
  • Access customer warranty database as required Validate warranty claims and dispute if required
  • Track product field performance and monitor early returns generate Pareto charts for analysis and corrective actions
  • Gathers and distributes data for monthly quality and warranty reports
  • Document and share lessons learned to the organization
