Missions

Your main mission will be to support the tools & methods team in the development, implementation and optimization of methodologies for the modeling of thermoplastic and metal materials

• Working on Material Modeling (flow behavior and fracture modeling) for metal and fiber reinforces thermoplastics and composite materials
• Using the FEA (Finite Element Analysis) solver LS-Dyna and the Pre and Post processing tool Hyperworks
• Using automatic parameter optimization tools like LS-Opt
• Automatization of process by using Python scripting and Excel VBA programming
• Investigating AI methodologies for material card fitting process

The mission will last 12 months.

Profile

• Master in Engineering (materials, mechanical or other)
• Knowledge on FEA simulation
• Basic knowledge on steel and plastic materials
• At least bilingual (English required)
• Experience in MS Office is an advantage
• Team player with strong communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously and to take initiative
• International mind set
