Your main missions

• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for cost reduction, validated with Commodity teams
• Support implementation of productivity actions (product / process) defined with Commodities
• Monitor productivity performance for his perimeter through cross-functional teamwork in the plants under his responsibility (i.e. productivity committees). Present to the plants management board the productivity plan, the progresses
• Challenge Commodities to achieve the Purchasing Budget for the plants he is in charge
• In case of escalation, for most critical topics, support the Supply Chain team to improve supplier deviation in Misdeliveries Per Million (MPM)
• Be involved in the kick off in program phase to prepare the start of Production. Lead transfers meetings with Program Buyers at the take-over
• Inform Commodity teams in case of major volumes changes
• lead negotiation for ECR in his/her perimeter, and product productivity, under control / supervision of commodities

The mission will last 12 months.

Your Profile

• Master degree in Engineering or Business with a specialization in international purchasing or supply chain
• First experience or significant apprenticeship experience in an automotive industrial environment, preferably in purchasing.
• Results oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong team work sense into an industrial environment
• International mindset, overseas experience a plus
• Ability to involve him/herself quickly into a matrix organization
• Negotiation skills
• Knowledge ERP systems (SAP preferably)
• Good knowledge MS Office tools (excel, word ...)
• Understanding of Production, quality and logistics
• Fluent in English German is a plus
