Your responsibilities

• Process-related optimizations and troubleshooting in PLC and robot programming
• Participation in the elimination of complex errors in the electronics, control technology and automation area
• Optimization of processes for better preventive maintenance and machine availability
• Planning and implementation of middle size automation projects in complete
• Support during installation and commissioning of new equipment / tools: creation, tracking and follow-up of action plans (problems, causes, corrective actions, responsibilities, and deadlines)
• Development of spare parts strategies for new and existing machines
• Tracking of work content / scrap convergence plan (including Pareto analysis) linked to equipment to meet project budget
• Analyze material flows in processes and optimize as appropriate
• If applicable, plan and draw in CAD of plant layout and layouts for new assembly lines

Qualifications

• Technician or degree in electrical / mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or similar
• Knowledge of PLC programming or robot programming
• Practical experience in the field of electrical engineering desirable
• Open minded, self starter, autonomous worker
• Good office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Very good English and good German skills
• Team player, independent, determined and not afraid to take initiatives
• Independent with good organizational skills and assertiveness
• Experience in a production plant is a plus
