The main missions

• Support the operations director in his daily tasks
• Define cycle time in line with takt time and standard operations
• Establish manufacturing routines and release manufacturing process documents
• Define production equipment specifications and ensure equipment delivery and installation in the plant
• Direct QCD initiatives: set targets, implement plans, track daily results, make appropriate adjustments in resource planning in order to reach desired results.
• Drive actions for improvement by ensuring communication with the Autonomous Production Unit Manager, Production Supervisors of other shifts, and support functions to ensure a transparent information flow, collaborate to define improvement areas and precise action plans.
• Support continuous improvement and carry out process productivity analysis, implement improvement action plans
• Contribute to the Engineering Change Management process
• Participate to the Manufacturing Engineering network
• Manage team performance: know team problems, define areas for performance improvements with team members, drive teamwork, lead problem solving groups, lead workshops on quality improvement methods (5S, TPM, 6M…).
• The length of the VIE is 24 months

Profile

• Master's degree in engineering
• Results oriented
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work in a matrixed organization
• International mind-set, willingness to learn
• Strong English level is mandatory / Intermediate German level is required (B1 and above)
