V.I.E. Rating Analyst, Germany

Tasks

Your responsibilities will include:

• Support the Corporate Funding & Rating Manager in coordinating relationships with Rating Agencies and Rating Advisor
• Prepare analytical studies and gather relevant material for Annual Management Meetings with Rating Agencies
• Analyze Rating Agencies individual methodologies and help provide recommendations on ways to optimize EADS credit rating
• Develop and update EADS Credit Rating Model allowing sensitivity analysis, stress tests and analysis of consequences on financial performance and rating
• Prepare reports to advise top-management on EADS financial flexibility based on its rating targets
• Help coordinating internal communication on rating topics and will prepare executive reports following credit updates from Rating Agencies on EADS as well as sector and peers credit reviews
• Provide necessary rating inputs for internal and external reports (S&P liquidity reports, EC reports, Facts & Figures from IR)
• Manage administrative tasks related to contractual relationship with Rating Agencies
• Support the Corporate Funding & Rating Manager and, as part of the Corporate Funding & Rating team, will work together with the Corporate Funding Analyst in funding related matters (esp. analysis of creditworthiness of borrowers in internal funding schemes)

Profile

We are looking for candidates with the following skills:

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or Engineering/ Aerospace Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in Finance and/or in Engineering, preferably in the Aerospace industry
• Knowledge of the aviation and aerospace sector is advantageous
• Knowledge of basic rating criteria and methodologies as well as knowledge of Bloomberg and Reuters is a plus
• English: fluent/ negotiation level
