The main missions are:

Engeeniring Change Request (ECR) in series:

• Track and manage all the changes in progress (as small projects) with Serial Program Managers
• Work closely with programs buyers
• Integrate ECR changes in Purchasing Action Plan tool when economical impact is identified

Productivity / Cost reduction:

• Define opportunitites for cost reduction, validate them with commodity team and implement them
• Integrate the result in the Purchasing Action Plan tool, report purchasing indexes and Profit & lost in line with the budget

Spare parts:

• Maintain prices or check that sales will take care of the increases when applicable
• Investigate when a transfer of production is required (insourcing or outsourcing) to manage load of spares suppliers
• Work on optimization of Packaging (cardboard, wood pallets, …) with Commodity Buyer

Mandated suppliers Prices follow up:

• Ensure high level of supplier quality performance, and take appropriate action plans for corrections with Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer and reach the Parts Per Million (PPM) targets.
• Work closely with the Supply Chain team to support supplier deviation in Misdeliveries Per Million (MPM)

Transfer activities for purchased subject:

• Deal with the complete transfer masterplan (stocks before transfer, trucks, tooling modifications, …) with our internals services and check with the supplier that transfer will be realized with respect to the rules of art (règles de l’art)
• Quality and Logistic will be secured in order to guaranty zero Misdeliveries Per Million to our customer

Profile

• Master Degree in engineering with a specialisation in international purchasing
• 5 years experience as a buyer in an industrial environment
• Results oriented
• Strong written and oral communications skills
• Ability to work in a matrix organisation
• International mindset, overseas experience is a plus
• Fluent English and French, German is a plus.
