Your assignments

Main Tasks:

Supply Chain Planning for one, up to two molecules

• Responsible for end-to-end setup as well as efficiency and compliance of Biosimilars supply chain
• Responsible for Drug Substance and Drug Product forecast and demand planning, procurement/ordering process and production planning with internal and external suppliers and acting as key contact with DS/DP supplier in the scope of Supply topics
• Oversight of inventory, warehousing and distribution of finished products
• Ensure uninterrupted delivery of Drug Substance and Drug Product based on finished product production planning provided by Production Unit (18 months planning horizon) and sales forecast provided by market units via Business Unit commercial department and market units (5 years planning horizon)
• Generate supply forecast and coordinate supply forecast approvals and ordering activities
• Support supply chain transparency and cross functional alignment
• Alignment with finance regarding budget and FC review

Leading biosimilars product launches

• Ensuring manufacturing readiness and product availability for launch in line with project timelines and budget
• Ensure alignment of cross-functional and multi-sites activities
• Development of launch-map and support decision making by providing scenarios and options

Central supply chain planning template/tool

• Responsible for setting up and maintaining central planning template/tool for all molecules
• Collect business and user requirements
• Draft template proposal and align with colleagues, management and stakeholders
• Maintain and update template (new requirements, new molecules, …)
• Mid-term (after onboarding), take over project lead for setting up IT planning tool; draft user requirement specifications, identify potential vendors, conduct vendor selection process, lead implementation steps with vendor, conduct trainings, maintain tool after launch with key users; lead (investment) project approval process, set up and (functionally) manage project team, manage cost and timeline, benefits and risks, identify internal stakeholders to be considered (MIT&DS, Global Sourcing, etc.) and overall communication with stakeholders

Other Tasks:

• Identify areas of improvement/continuous improvement proposals and execution

Your profile

Education:

• Advanced degree in a scientific discipline or degree in supply chain management and logistics

Job Specific Competencies & Skills:

• Strong knowledge of (bio)pharmaceutical processes, GMP, supply chain, logistics, deep understanding of regulatory requirements, QA and QC
• Strong knowledge in supply planning and data analysis and ability to operate and maintain IT planning tools
• Experience with biosimilar manufacturing and supply is a plus
• Ability to operate in a global matrix organization with various functions
• Skills in managing and influencing constructive interactions with pertinent functions and external stakeholders across multiple cultures in a dynamic matrix environment

Languages:

Work experience:

• 7+ years of professional experience in supply chain and/or manufacturing preferably within an international biopharmaceutical industry setting or at least 3 – 5 yrs. with a consulting firm (M&A, transaction advisory, etc)
