Missions

• Support definition of new technology and process
• Coordinate standard layout, equipment and tooling definition with Process Experts
• Support PE in the collection and analysis of benchmark data and lessons learned
• Work with Process Experts to ensure compliance of Generic Products with standard equipment, tools and gages
• Work with Purchasing / Commodities and Manufacturing to develop cost models
• Ensure Design For Manufacturing principles
• Ensure manufacturability by managing MVP definition and execution (incl. budget & CAR)
• Coordinate the PFMEA creation and launch
• Participate in Key Product and Control Characteristics definition
• Support the definition of traceability system
• Manage manufacturing timing and cost

Qualifications

• Minimum Education Level: Bachelor’s degree or Master's degree in engineering/Manufacturing
• Minimum of 5/10 years of professional experience in production area, including one position in Manufacturing Engineering
• Experience in program launch in plant
• Customer relation
• Strong international network and teamwork sense
• Cross functional management skills
• Proven skills on product and process
• Trained in FES, FES Equipment Design, PMS and GD&T
• Familiar with program finance attributes (costing, P&L and investments)
• Minimum language skill: English, German/Chinese would be a plus
• Flexibility to travel
• Knowledge in Marine, Power generation and/or Rail application would be a plus
