The main missions
- Manage Canning and big diameter tube activities within the plants of the European Division
- Improve productivity & output/TRS of existing canning and big diameter tube lines by reducing cycle time, down time, scrap, ...
- Support and drive the Improvement Direct Labour Efficiency of canning lines by automation (i.e. Cobot Applications)
- Ensure the deployment and improvement of process standards & best practices related to canning and big diameter tube lines
- Support plants, programs and suppliers for process issues related to canning and big diameter tubes
- Support processes development and improvement related to canning incl. related tooling and equipment
- Train and instruct the european canning network and feedback to the global BG canning network in regards to process improvement and standardization
Profile
- Master's degree in manufacturing engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the Automotive industry
- Proven technical skills on process and product, in canning
- Trained in Faurecia Excellence System and Program Management System
- Strong communication skills, ability to structure know-how
- Networking capabilities, ability to work in a matrix organization
- International mindset
- English required, German or other language will be a plus
