Missions

Reserving:

• Quarterly BU Reserve analysis and communication (Europe)
• Providing analysis supporting BU oversight activities as key functions
• Reporting of results, e.g. presentations to BU management

Contributing to local and global projects being undertaken by the Corporate Actuarial team, in particular:

• Transition European BU’s from local to globalized reserving
• Own the reserving process entirely with a focus on Europe, including input in reserve/control environment to make it complete and professional
• Contributing to departmental and group systems development projects
• Contributing to departmental investigations
• Providing actuarial support to other AzP functions
• Contributing to Solvency II underwriting risk capital modeling activities
• Contributing to IFRS 17 program

Profile

• Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience (P&C reserving & reporting)
• Holder of an Actuarial degree or similar actuarial qualification
• Strong analysis and synthesis skills
• Strong knowledge of Excel
• Strong expertise in common actuarial software and tools, knowledge of SAS or ResQ is an advantage
• Knowledge of the insurance business
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Team player, proactive
• Rigorous, precise and conscientious
• Fluent spoken and written English required
