Intership (m/f) for the department Laserscanner Development, Bietigheim-Bissingen

The mission of the thermal systems business group is to develop and manufacture systems, modules and components to ensure thermal energy management of the power train and comfort for each passenger, during all phases of vehicle use. These systems help to significantly reduce fuel consumption, CO2 emissions and other pollutants and harmful particles from vehicles equipped with internal combustion engines. They also increase travel range and battery life for hybrid and electric vehicles. At the Front Office in Bietigheim-Bissingen we are supporting Sale- and Project activities and compose the interface between the customers Daimler and Valeo-internal departments at the development from Thermal Systems.

Your new task in Detail

• Develop scripts to evaluate defined function performance indicators
• Design structure of script, implement algo to calculate results
• Implement automation of scripts
• Define validation strategy for scripts and perform Validation
• Documentation of development of scripts
• Verify results based on tests of function on system level to requirements
• Define checklists for tests on system level for function
• Support function owner for function development

What you should bring with you in terms of experience

• Background in computer science, electrical engineering, physics or similar
• Experience and good knowledge in programming at least in one programming
• language (C/C++, Python, Java, other)
• Experience and basic knowledge of Matlab or similar Tools
• Basic understanding of environment sensoric application like camera, radar,
• lidar or other
• Motivation to work in a very innovative technology field
• Team player and good communication skills     
• Languages: English (must), German (optional)
