In our rapidly changing and uncertain world, factors such as an aging population, chronic diseases, AI, climate change, and other megatrends have created an appetite for scientific breakthroughs that can make a positive difference across our global society. The pace of change will increase over coming decades as technologies evolve and converge in ways that fundamentally transform how we live and work. For us at Merck, change is not a threat but an opportunity as we have proven for over more than 350 years.
Role
- You will work with our EMEA Field Service team, making sure everything runs smoothly and efficiently across the entire region. Your primary job is to be the central communicator: you will coordinate all service requests, manage the schedules for our field engineers, and keep customers and our internal teams (Sales, Support, Logistics) perfectly aligned. Beyond coordinating, you will help grow the business by partnering with Sales to renew contracts and propose new service agreements. You will also maintain accurate service records and help implement better ways of working so we can consistently deliver exceptional support.
- Please note this is an opportunity for a CDD (Fixed-Term) contract.
Profile
- Proven experience in administrative tasks for Service Coordinaation. It is an office-based role with no Research & Development (R&D) components.
- A master of organization and multitasking who knows how to prioritize tasks.
- An excellent communicator, skilled at building strong working relationships with customers, engineers, and cross-functional teams.
- Technically proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite and experience using a service management system like Salesforce.
- Must be fluent in English and French; any additional EMEA languages are a bonus.
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
