EMEA Field Quality Specialist for Vegetable Seeds (m/f), Lyon

Your key responsibilities

• Field Quality Improvement Assures continuous improvement processes are in place to increase Seed Health quality of seed delivered to our customers
• Seed Health – Execute the Field Quality and Seed Health strategy including leveraging knowledge transfer topics for commercial partners and customers.
• Support the ERT (Emergency Response Team) in case of incident related to Seed Health
• Execute best practices and training programs across the organization (R&D, OE, ME, IM, SPI, Customer Operation, Marketing, TD and Sales)
• Conduct appropriate audits and program reviews to assess compliance with internal and external requirements (GSPP).
• Partner with Quality Control to provide guidance on the development of diagnostics/testing programs.
• Collaborate across industry partners, including key competitors and officials
• Certifications & Accreditations – Evaluate current and future opportunities for participation.
• Data analysis during crop growth and after harvest.
• This position requires Travels in France and EMEA especially in peak season (Spring/Summer).

Your profile

• Masters Degree in agriculture, plant pathology, or biological discipline
• Minimum 5 years experience in plant pathology (or 10 years in seed production)
• Self-motivated, analytic person who is process oriented
• Effective communication and ability to influence all levels in the organization
• Effective communication and influencing skills
• Strong cross-cultural intelligence
