Electrical system project manager, Toulouse

In the frame of electrical systems department, the jobholder will be responsible of new standard development of electrical secondary distribution system for A380 program. The project is international with supplier and Airbus team in France, Germany and Canada.

The jobholder will control that equipments developped by the supplier are fullfilling the specification performances and will monitor closely supplier activity development roadmap from definition to certification. He is accountable of Timeschedule, Cost, Quality, Performance.

In his day to day activities, jobholder will be in contact with supplier for technical follow up, and will ensure interface with other Airbus services.
The jobholder will be intrusive and proactive in order to anticipate risks and closely monitor development schedule and cost.
He will be accountable of Timeschedule, Cost, Quality, Performance.

Thanks to a first experience in electrical engineering, jobholder will be capable of challenging technical solutions and make assessments.

Tasks

SEPDS Airbus team/supplier management and project coordination:

The objectives of the position are:

• To manage and coordinate Airbus SEPDS Team (In France and Germany)
• To manage SEPDS Supplier (Honeywell Toronto)
• To define SEPDS (ie SEPDC and PDMI) development roadmap
• To follow up on SEPDS development and industrialization process
• To provide SEPDS support to all Airbus concerned departments (mainly industrialization department and customer support department) and customers
• Minimize cost of SEPDS development to Airbus
• To pass on A380 lessons learned to all Airbus development team

SEPDS technical definition and validation:

System definition:

• Define and validate SEPDS team proposal new standard contents
• Coordinate with supplier standard development roadmap
• Define and validate standard test campaign approach
• Define In the view of field return or experience new requirement for the system evolution·Technical expert for electrical distribution system
• Synchronise Configuration Data File (SEPDS and PDMI configuration data file)

System development and system validation:

• Follow up on supplier development progress from definition phase to certification by setting up progress status meeting
• Follow up on Airbus activities from definition phase to certification
• Follow up and coordinate outsourced activities
• Validate quality and conformity of all Honeywell deliverable (product and documentation)
• Validate equipment test campaign results
• Write certification dossier
• SEPDS e-room coordinator (10Go)
• SEPDS GREFFIE database coordinator

SEPDS customer support/SEPDS maturity:

• Validate trouble shooting procedure
• Analyse issue or incident with an objective to fix the issue in a short term via procedure and in a long term via a new standard
• Provide commercial and technical quality answer to Airbus customers via analysis provided to SEE
