Computational Biologist (m/f), Sophia-Antipolis

Your tasks and responsibilities

As Computational Biologist, your main missions will be:

• Define & Execute appropriate meta data, data & information management as well as knowledge generation principles in order to ensure high-quality data for the set-up of in-silico prediction tools
• Collaborate with subject-matter experts to further refine data handling, visualization and management
• Design and run data and knowledge management projects together with R&D, CLS and IT departments to improve our platform
• Intelligently design, implement, efficiently maintain and successfully apply biostatistical solutions in cross-functional and interdisciplinary teams
• Ensure proper planning of experiments, adapted statistical interpretation and visualization of results to increase quality of data and interpretations.

Who you are

• You have a Master or PhD in bioinformatics and/or in natural sciences with focus in application of computational biology and/or biostatistics and its application.
• You are able to answer biological/toxicological questions within life science R&D.
• Thanks to your experience in applying biostatistics, you know how to improve data quality, reliability and interpretability of data.
• A good knowledge in Toxicology would be an advantage.
• You have a very good ability to work in interdisciplinary teams due to excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• You have a solid experience with project management.
• Fluent written and oral communication skills in English is required, ability to speak French would be a plus.
