What part will you play?

  • As Communication Manager (f/m/d) you contribute to the overall strategy and messaging around key thought leadership topics by developing, creating and driving comprehensive, new and impactful concepts and formats with the goal of enhancing the perception of Siemens as a thought leader in respective fields such as ingenuity and innovation
  • You work closely with the project lead of a new global flagship event for key customers and stakeholders, called IngenuityX. IngenuityX will be a two-day virtual and physical conference, bringing together global industry leaders, B2G, high level-experts from the digital and industrial worlds to discuss disruptive trends and challenges and opportunities of digital transformation
  • You contribute to all aspects of the project – including the format of the event, building the agenda and identifying speakers in close cooperation with inand external stakeholders
  • You work closely within colleagues from other Communications departments to ensure positive brand, business and social impact in strategically relevant offline and online channels
  • Working in partnership with internal subject matter experts as well as key stakeholders from across the Siemens organization who contribute to shaping the Ingenuity topic and/or are impacted by it, in order to infuse their expertise into the strategy, surface compelling proof points and ensure a common alignment, also belongs to your area of responsibility

What you need to make real what matters

  • You successfully completed your university degree in the field of communications, journalism, change management or in a similar field.
  • Additional you already gained 35 years of experience in corporate communications for a corporate, international group with a relevant scale and complexity
  • You have first experience in managing smaller projects as well as in contributing to large-scale projects, and are confident in working with executives and know how to align interests of various stakeholders to build consensus
  • You have a good grasp of the challenges facing the energy, industry, transport and infrastructure sectors today
  • Furthermore you are familiar with research methods to get data and suggests corrective measures that meet the needs of the situation and those directly affected; you consider already existing solutions if adaptable
  • You have strong analytical skills, enjoy working in a team and can cope well with a large number of projects and tasks
  • You embrace a culture of ownership and entrepreneurial freedom
  • English business fluent is required. German is a plus. Additional languages (e.g., French, Portuguese, Mandarin, Arabic) are an asset
